At Twelve, our mission is both clear and ambitious: to build a fossil-free future. This vision is guided by three core beliefs: The Future is Fossil-Free, It Takes Everybody, and We Can Do This. When we say "it takes everybody," we truly mean it. Our progress relies not only on the dedication of our extraordinary employees, partners, investors, and customers but also on the communities we serve. As a company, we are committed to being an engaged and impactful community partner through thoughtful contributions and responsible business practices.
This commitment is exemplified through our annual Twelve for the Community initiative, celebrated every year on December 4. This day reflects the essence of our mission: to foster a cleaner, more sustainable planet, one molecule and one community at a time. It’s a moment to give back, amplify our purpose, and reflect on the "why" behind what we do.
This year, our team embraced the spirit of Twelve for the Community by assembling 400 hygiene kits for the Women’s Daytime Drop-in Center in Berkeley, CA. Together, we created a cheery and collaborative environment as employees worked side by side to pack and prepare these essential kits for delivery.
Our employees are the heartbeat of Twelve. Their passion, creativity, and resilience fuel our efforts to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Twelve for the Community embodies this collective spirit, demonstrating that we are not only building a company and a movement but also strengthening a purpose-driven community.
