BERKELEY, CA (Sept. 18, 2025) – Twelve™, the Carbon Transformation company, today announced a strategic, multiyear collaboration with Autodesk®, a global leader in software solutions for architecture, engineering, construction, product design, and media. This collaboration supports Autodesk’s corporate impact strategy by supporting the scaling of critical emerging climate technologies, like sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

The collaboration centers on Twelve's groundbreaking power-to-liquid (PtL) technology, which transforms captured CO2 directly into sustainable aviation fuel. Through this procurement agreement Autodesk will purchase SAF certificates from Twelve, supporting the scale-up of innovative carbon transformation technology and incentivizing the use of power-to-liquid (PtL) fuel within its value chain to help reduce its Scope 3 emissions.

Globally, aviation accounts for a significant portion of corporate travel emissions, with business travelers representing just 12% of passengers but contributing up to 75% of airline revenues on certain flights (source). As travel emissions are projected to grow from 2% of global carbon emissions today to potentially 12-27% by 2050, SAF offers one of the most viable pathways to reduce this escalating impact while maintaining essential business operations.

"Autodesk is committed to reducing the barriers to the low carbon future by investing in innovations that cross industries," said Joe Speicher, Chief Sustainability Officer, Autodesk.

"Our collaboration with Twelve is a powerful example of how our corporate strategy translates into real-world action, using technology to scale innovative climate solutions, including sustainable aviation fuel, and accelerating the transition to a low carbon economy for everyone."

Twelve's technology produces SAF that can reduce lifecycle carbon emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional jet fuel, offering a critical solution for hard-to-decarbonize sectors like aviation.

The Twelve-Autodesk collaboration has deep roots, beginning with the Autodesk Foundation's support of Twelve as a portfolio company through strategic partners Prime Coalition and MCJ in 2017. The formal procurement relationship emerged through Autodesk's participation in SABA's request for proposal (RfP) process for SAF procurement.

"What makes this collaboration special is that it goes beyond a traditional supplier relationship and demonstrates how established industry leaders and innovative climate technology companies can work together to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy," said Nicholas Flanders, Co-Founder and CEO, Twelve.

"Autodesk has been supporting our mission for years and now we're working together to scale the critical climate solutions the world needs."

The Twelve x Autodesk collaboration represents a strategic investment in both immediate decarbonization and long-term technology scaling.
