Unsolicited Ideas Policy

Every year, TWELVE™ receives submissions proposing ideas for use and commercialization. We appreciate this interest in our Company and mission and want to thank each person who has taken the time and effort to get in touch with us.

Most of the concepts that are new and useful to us are internally generated by our scientific, technical, business development, and marketing staff who access their expertise, publications, and other sources of information. Many outside suggestions are often already known or available to us.

The company desires that all persons protect their ideas to their satisfaction before disclosing their ideas to us. The ideas of inventors are typically adequately protected only when they are covered by an issued patent. Accordingly, in submitting an idea for consideration, the inventor should first apply for patent protection concerning their idea.

Unfortunately, even with good faith on both sides, there is still a danger of a misunderstanding when ideas are submitted to us. Our policies and practices are intended to avoid misunderstandings and to provide reasonable protection for TWELVE, and we urge you to carefully consider these policies and practices before you decide to accept them for your idea.

In order to consider these ideas without creating any misunderstandings, we only accept ideas subject to this policy. We cannot proceed with any consideration of your idea unless you comply with the following terms:

- All idea submissions should be submitted through the company website on the "Contact us" page.

- Through submission, no confidential relationship or obligation of secrecy is established between the submitter and TWELVE.

- All ideas must be:

- submitted in writing; and

- covered by an issued US patent or a published US patent application.

- TWELVE will not consider any idea where the submitter requires compensation for the evaluation or use of the idea.

- No consideration will be given to any idea unless it is submitted subject to an agreement provided with this policy. A submitter who wants TWELVE to consider an idea must agree to these terms by signing and returning the agreement.

We will notify you after your idea submission and completion of our evaluation if we are interested in the idea.

If we believe that your idea may be new and useful and is patented or can be protected by a patent, we may consider discussing a possible basis for acquiring rights to use it.
